After years of the authority of the normative approach over Translations teaching, maybe the period has arrived for a severe revisal in Translations teaching methods. It must let the student to pick out voluntarily between different choices they have at hand, prompting them that they might become responsible for the selections they arrive at. Translations instructors must clear up for the students that each translation has got its own purpose determined by its translator, and that they may freely take the choices that best attend their intended purpose of translation..
